Looking for Cybersecurity Teaching Assistants or Adjunct Instructors this Fall?

Cybersecurity faculty are in high demand across the nation. NCyTE is running a Faculty Fellowship Program to recruit and train future community college cybersecurity faculty. Participants in this program are in the final stages of completing a bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity or are recent graduates. In NCyTE's Faculty Fellowship Program, prospective faculty will gain experience creating lesson plans and syllabi and leading a classroom using 21st Century Learning Design and other tools.

NCyTE would like to partner with 20-25 community or technical colleges that can:

  • Provide faculty to support participants, or
  • Place a Faculty Fellowship Program participant at their institution as an adjunct cybersecurity instructor or Teaching Assistant in Fall 2022.

NCyTE will consider virtual and in-person assignments on a per-case basis.

Colleges accepted as support/host sites will meet with the class on July 29, 2022, followed by a monthly mentor/host meeting to introduce and pair prospective teaching assistants or adjunct instructors with participating community/ technical colleges.

If you or a colleague at your institution is interested in participating or would like more information, please click the "register" button to fill out a short form. Please respond by July 22, 2022, for best consideration. Our team will contact you with more information.

Dr. John Sands, Co-PI of NCyTE and Director of the Center for Systems Se
