Whatcom Community College’s NCyTE Center,  has partnered with the Girl Scouts of Western Washington to host a cybersecurity badge day for local scouts.

Please note our registration system only allows 1 registrant per email. If you are the parent or troop leader, please use your email to registers and the girls as additional guests you are bringing and then email Tosha at TAmos@whatcom.edu with the names of each scout and whether they are a brownie or a junior.

Both Brownie and Junior level scouts will be given the opportunity to earn all three Cybersecurity Investigator Badges after participating in the four hour educational camp.

Faculty and WCC students from the Women in Cybersecurity club will carry out the day’s instruction, which includes both hands-on lab work and engaging activities centered on the specific badge requirements.

The Brownies and Juniors will be separated into two separate labs and provided with the appropriate Girl Scout workbooks. Scouts will be awarded a certificate of completion and the Cybersecurity Investigator Badges.

Lunch for the scouts will be provided and all materials including badges at no charge!
