Program Development & Technical Assistant Workshops

Faculty and administrators seeking to create, develop or improve a cybersecurity program at their college are invited to attend the NCyTE Center Monthly Webinar on Friday, March 20 at 9am PDT. Corrinne Sande, Director/PI of NCyTE will present an overview of a program development and technical assistance workshop designed to help faculty or administrators  develop a cybersecurity program at their college. Through Ms. Sande’s efforts, Whatcom Community College became the first National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense—Two-Year Education (CAE2Y) on the West Coast.

Speaker:
Corrinne Sande is the director of the National Cybersecurity Resource Center funded by the National Security Agency, and Principal Investigator for NCyTE, a National Science Foundation–funded Advanced Technological Education (ATE) national resource center that works to grow and strengthen the nation’s cybersecurity workforce.  Both centers are hosted at Whatcom Community College (WCC). Ms. Sande also serves as the Principal Investigator of  the Catalyzing Computing and Cybersecurity in Community Colleges (C5) NSF-funded grant and is the Director of Computer Science and Computer Information Systems at WCC.
