CAE Tools for Measuring Cybersecurity Competency
There are many educational pathways to a career in cybersecurity. Employers are increasingly calling for graduates equipped with specific skills and competencies that fit their organizational needs. The Cybersecurity Competency Work Group is developing tools to help CAE institutions identify pathways and test competencies to better prepare students for the workforce. These tools will help students to visualize career goals, develop skills to fit those positions, and provide the means to measure and demonstrate preparedness. Join us for an overview and demonstration of these tools.
Speakers: Lynne Clarke, Chief of the NSA/DHS National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) Program Office Susanne Wetzel, Associate Professor Stevens Institute of Technology Vincent Nestler, Assistant Professor at California State University San Bernardino
