Effective Change Management:

Strategies for successful cybersecurity project and grant implementation


Wednesday, September 22, 2021, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Pacific)


This interactive and educational workshop aims to support college faculty endeavoring to develop their cybersecurity program leadership skills and/or serve as Principal Investigators of federal grants. Participants will learn about topics such as establishing a vision for their cybersecurity program, building and maintaining support for projects, and leadership skills specific to this field. Participants will learn about research-based best practices, receive tips and hear lessons learned from experienced experts, and have the opportunity to apply their learning and engage in discussion with other participants and the presentation team. The last part of the workshop will focus specifically on National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education grant management.


Participant Expectations:

The workshop is interactive. Participants will need to connect via a computer with a microphone and a webcam. A $250 stipend will be awarded to participants completing the workshop.
