Cybersecurity faculty are in high demand across the nation. This 5-session Summer Bootcamp continues you on the path toward becoming an effective cybersecurity teacher in a community college setting.

You will apply the 21st Century classroom methods and pedagogy introduced in the recruitment/orientation bootcamps as part of an in-depth examination of cybersecurity essentials in the modern world. The Summer Bootcamp will also introduce you to community college faculty roles/responsibilities and classroom expectations. The days will be packed with information including instruction and lab work.

This program also includes mentoring and the opportunity to serve as an assistant instructor at a community or technical college this fall*.

Eligible participants will receive a stipend of up to $4,500 based on successful achievement of certain milestones.

*Every effort will be made to pair bootcamp participants with a community/technical college for a virtual or in-person teaching assignment, but cannot be guaranteed depending on availability at participating colleges.
