The National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center (NCyTE) and the Washington State Center of Excellence for Cybersecurity (CoECyber) have partnered together to provide professional development opportunities to community college faculty as part of their mission to support those interested in becoming cybersecurity faculty, or faculty wishing to enhance their skills and knowledge in the cybersecurity field.

Stipends are available to approved applicants to support the course fee of $600 and exam voucher for the following course.

IT Essentials v8: PC Hardware and Software v8.0 covers the fundamentals of computer hardware and software as well as advanced concepts. IT E 8.0 curriculum prepares students for the CompTIA A+ certification exams 220-1101 and 220-1102.

    Requirements:

    • You must register and complete all application information by the deadline of March 16, 2023, or until the workshop is full
    • You must be approved for the stipends by NCyTE/CoECyber. No more than two stipends per person will be approved.
