Now Accepting Waitlist Registrations

The National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center (NCyTE) is offering a limited number of travel stipends of up to $1,500 for faculty to attend the NICE Conference in Seattle, June 5 - 7, 2023.

This year’s NICE conference theme “Resetting Expectations: Creating Accessible Cybersecurity Career Pathways” is about reimagining what it takes to be a cybersecurity professional. By resetting the expectations, cybersecurity will be an accessible career path through various, nontraditional avenues.

Stipend requirements:

  • Currently teaching business, information technology, or other degree program at a regionally accredited institution
  • Apply by February 5, 2023
  • Complete the travel agreement by May 19, 2023
  • Attend the NICE conference in-person, June 5-7, 2023
  • Agree to complete a post-conference evaluation

NCyTE will notify applicants of their decision by May 12, 2023. Applicants who are approved must complete all the requirements and will be reimbursed two to four weeks after the conference.

Travel arrangements and registering for the conference are the responsibility of the applicant.
