About the Spring VCCC workshop

Students are assigned to a team and must complete a project where they configure, operate, protect, and defend a network of machines. Throughout the workshop, they are developing technical abilities and team skills. They will spend between 160 and 180 hours completing the project.

Instructors who lead/teach the workshop take on the role of employer and consultant. They help organize the teams and meet with them as a group weekly to discuss their progress and challenges. Instructors will help teams identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks to keep them on track.
