The CAE Candidates National Center, in collaboration with the CAE Peer Review National Center, is excited to announce an upcoming in-person CAE-R & CAE-CO Mentor & Peer Reviewer Workshop at Nova Southeastern University.

Workshop Details: Date: March 26, 2026 | Location: Nova Southeastern University | Travel Stipend: Available for approved attendees | Capacity: Limited to 30 participants

Workshop Overview: This workshop will provide annual training for CAE-R  & CAE-CO Mentors, Pre-Submission Reviewers, and Peer Reviewers (participation stipends available for each workshop). Participants will gain hands-on experience completing a peer review or pre-submission review and will be added to our active Mentor and Peer Reviewer list upon completion.

Travel Funding Requirements: 

To be considered for travel funding, participants must have directly contributed to their institution’s successful attainment of the CAE-CO or CAE-R designation. In addition, participants must be legally eligible to receive payment from a U.S. Department of Defense–funded grant and accept payment within the United States, in accordance with applicable federal and DoD grant requirements.

Participants must be able to complete and submit a valid W-9 Form and execute a contract for services with Whatcom Community College to support the completion of one training peer review, as required for reimbursement and payment processing.

Eligible participants must register for the workshop and submit the Travel Funding Request Form to Emma Graves at EGraves@whatcom.edu no later than February 20, 2026.

Note: Please wait for travel approval before making any arrangements, and please bring your own laptop to the workshop.

Important Note: Mentors and Peer Reviewers are eligible for one workshop participation stipend per year. This workshop is by invitation only; please do not distribute.
