CAE National Resource Center

Whatcom Community College (WCC) has been selected by the National Security Agency (NSA) to lead efforts to improve and expand cybersecurity education nationwide as one of four Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber defense (CAE-CD) National Resource Centers. In this role, Whatcom and NCyTE leads the CAE-CD Application Assistance Program, guiding university and college administrators and faculty through the rigorous application for the CAE-CD designation.

The National Cybersecurity Training & Education Center (NCyTE)

NCyTE, formerly CyberWatch West, is a consortium of colleges, universities, high schools, and industry partners working together to grow and strengthen our nation's cybersecurity workforce. Its work is funded by a National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education (NSF-ATE) Grant. NCyTE is administered and led by Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, WA.   For more information, visit www.ncyte.net.
