CAE Candidates Program, in collaboration with the Peer Reviewing Center, is pleased to announce an upcoming in-person CAE-CD Mentor & Peer Reviewer Workshop at Nova Southeastern University. This 2 day event will host the following:

• Day 1, CAE-CD Designation workshop,  and
• Day 2, CAE-CD and CAE-CO Mentor and Peer Review Training

Workshop Overview:

Day 1 (May 8, 2024): Dedicated to CAE-CD Program Development and Designation Workshop.

• Relevant only CAE-CD focused institutions.
• Program development methods for new CAE-CD programs.  
• Review the program of study validation and CAE designation requirements.

Day 2 (May 9, 2024): Tailored for CAE-CD and CAE-CO Mentors, Pre-submission Review, and Peer Reviewer.

• Relevant for both CAE-CD and CO institutions.
•  Will provide annual mentor, pre-submission review, and peer review training (participation stipends available for each workshop)
• Will allow hands on experience completing a peer review or pre-submission review.
• After completing day 2, you will be added to our active Mentor / peer reviewer list.

To be considered for travel funding and workshop participation must complete the following:

• Register for the event by April 21, 2023.
• Submit the Travel Funding Request Form Travel Funding Request Form May 8-9, 2024.docx to Stephen Troupe at STroupe@whatcom.edu by April 26, 2024.
• Do not make travel arrangements until travel has been approved.
• Bring your own laptop to the workshop.

Note: Mentors and peer reviewers are eligible for one workshop participation stipend per year.
