Virtual Cybersecurity Career Challenge

Application Deadline: December 8, 2025

The Virtual Cybersecurity Career Challenge is for college-level students seeking real-world experience in cybersecurity.

Challenge schedule: February 2 to April 24.

Application due December 8 at midnight Pacific time:

• Completion of one year of college credits.
• Completion of introductory courses in networking and cybersecurity.
• Attendance at a Virtual Cybersecurity Career Challenge information session. (Nov. 14, 19, or 21)
• Brief description of what you hope to achieve in the challenge.
• Brief description of your experience working on teams, your role, challenges, and lessons learned.
• Instructor endorsement. Forward instructors a link to the form. 
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident residing in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
