Leveraging AI in the Teaching and Learning Process

This session explores transformative applications of artificial intelligence in educational settings, examining how AI tools can enhance both instructional delivery and student learning outcomes. Participants will discover practical strategies for integrating AI-powered platforms to personalize learning experiences, automate assessment processes, and provide real-time feedback. Session leaders will discuss practical examples of using AI to enhance student learning and create interactive and engaging instructional content.

Dr. John Sands

Dr. John SandsDr. John Sands brings over 36 years of extensive experience in information technology management and cyber defense. He earned his Ph.D. from Colorado State University and has dedicated the past three decades to advancing technology education as a distinguished member of Moraine Valley Community College. Currently serving as the department chair of the Computer Integrated Technologies department and NCyTE Co-PI, Dr. Sands continues to innovate and lead in the field of cybersecurity and IT education.
